'We hebben een fantastische week gehad in het huisje en omgeving. Mooie omgeving, de natuur, de rust, maar ook het gebied om het plaatsje Killin heen. Genoeg activiteiten. Het huisje was perfect, open haard, vers water uit de bergen. Alles was aanwezig in het huisje, en.als er iets niet was, hadden snel en goed contact met de eigenaars Goed voor elkaar! Vr groet fam Eisses Als we in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker weer boeken, of reclameren voor vrienden / familie'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our night away, lodge was beautifully decorated with amazing attention to detail. Spotlessly clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable :) '

'The property is a fully equipped bungalow style home on a big piece of land. The only noise is the animals flying, crawling or walking around. So quite. The single track can be a challenge with oncoming traffic and the lack of indication that someone is approaching. Some nice conversations with the owner and additional supplies of towels or (bed / kitchen) linnen. Overall a nice starting point to explore the surrounding area from Fort William (with Ben Nevis mountain), Glencoe, Falkirk...

'Leuk huisje in het centrum waar je prima zelf kunt koken. Klein tuintje waar je kunt zitten. Grappig steegje waar het huisje in staat. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad 😀'

'Good property, cosy and clean. Could be greatly improved by the addition of more kitchenware such as range of pots, plates, knives, glasses etc. Otherwise nice and surrounded by a variety of farm animals.'

'This was a modern, well-equipped property. Very comfortable for a large group, nice for a relaxing stay in the woods, but a manageable drive to many sites in the Trossachs and Stirling.'

'4 adults and 4 children travelled from Sunderland for a fantastic stay! The location is very remote but absolutely stunning and perfect for what we wanted! The views and surprise beautiful. Property had everything we wanted. Thank you'

'Such a beautiful location and cottage. Stayed in the Oak 2 Bed cottage and this was a home from home. They think of everything (including sachets of condiments). This stay was perfect for me, my partner and our 9 month old baby. The bedrooms are so spacious so plenty of room for a travel cot in the main bedroom with you or the 2nd bedroom. Waking up and opening the curtains to the views and the sheep was fantastic. We would definitely be going back.'

'My husband and I stayed at this lovely apartment for 6 nights while visiting Scotland. Very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as there are quite a few stairs.'

'A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before.'

'Phenomenal location that is a short walk from everything, the castle, restaurants, shops and train and bus station. The townhome is attractive, very clean and well kept. We were able to navigate the stairs just fine, but they could be difficult for some.'

'Nice house which is the perfect base to our Scottish adventure. Rosie and Dave are supernice and helpful. The jacuzzi is very welcome after a trip through nature. We loved our stay. If you use Google maps just navigate to Back Borland Holiday Cottages and it will bring you to the front door.'

'Het appartement heeft alle comfort die je kunt wensen en is gezellig en huiselijk ingericht. De informatie die je krijgt is zeer uitgebreid en bij vragen krijg je snel antwoord maar ook extra informatie en tips. De buren zijn heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. Echt een warm welkom.'

'Location and property were just what we imagined a stay in Scotland should be. Scenery- beautiful home. Great location. Every attention to detail for our comfort- soft bathrobes- bottle of champagne…fireplaces ready to go. Friendly village. Would stay here again'

'Lots of good things to say about this place. The history of it being a stable - charming. The smell of lavender planted near the entrance - charming. The sound of sheep bleating if you crack one of the many the windows - charming. Church and old cemetery next door - charming. Young deer visits daily just outside the dining/living area - charming. I docked one star on cleanliness because I found a pacifier under one of the beds and I know they allow dogs but the kitchen smelled like dog -less...

'Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend'
