« The place was well appointed. It had all of the basic necessities - shampoo, etc, dish soap, laundry detergent… it was clean and all of the instructions were clear. Amazing view of the harbor from our room as well! Two very very little things - I never found a cutting board in the kitchen and there were power stip outlets on both bedside tables in the MBr, but the one closest to the door did not work. « We were unaware of power outages during a two night stay. If we had known about it at time of booking we would’ve chosen another place. The shower head was leaking big time. Very difficult having water squirting all over the place while taking a shower. Was told by management power was going to be off from 9am-3pm and it didn’t come on till 3:25 and told it would be shut off again from 5-7pm again. « The Mermaid’s Pearl was a comfortable fit for my son (19) and me. It is located in a quiet complex with a beautiful view from the balcony. The studio is a perfect size for two people and was very clean. « Nice location with plenty of parking. The pool is across from the condo which is very convenient. The condo was clean and close to Sapphire Beach and the ferry to St. John’s . We did have a couple of power outages lasting 2-3 hrs.each time during our stay. There is an extension cord in the unit that you plug outside (since the building has power) but no power strip. It would be nice to have one to be able to charge your phone and a portable fan since it got humid inside. There was a flashlight...
