'Zeer mooie en ontspannen plek, goed onderhouden. Schoon zwembad met uitzicht op het meer. Fijne kamers met alles wat je nodig hebt (o.a. grote bedden, warme douche, ventilator etc). Kamer kon echter niet op slot. Wat betreft communicatie van medewerkers valt nog winst te behalen (o.a. onduidelijkheid over beschikbaarheid keuken, onvriendelijke bejegening bij uitchecken).'

'Beautiful hotel in the heart of Blantyre. Only stayed one night on business but I 100% recommend it. Room service (most delicious Chambo) was quick, WiFi was fast, breakfast was delicious and the staff were attentive. Reception even helped me charge my phone!!'

'The hotel has good staff that give good advice and about where to eat and security - which is an issue. It is not recommended to walk outside for westerners due to streetboys. The hotel itself is a 3 star hotel, in european standards. A bit run down, but clean. The restaurant on 5th floor, Vincent, is very good.'

'Sunbird Ku Chawe is situated high up on the Zomba Plateau - one definitely needs a car to get there. It has perfectly manicured beautiful gardens. Even though it was very hot the time that I was there, there is always a cool breeze as it is so high up!
