'The hotel reception couldn't give us the room we had booked, but gave us a room without a mountain view without saying anything. When I pointed this out they said that the building with such rooms is undergoing renovations and is not ready yet. Yet the hotel had that option bookable! In other words, what wasn't there was for sale!
When I demanded the price difference back they said that it wasn't possible because the hotel had to first receive payment from "Hotels.com" in order to be able to pay...

'In a word: Disappointing. We brought good friends there to reward them for the hard work they do and thank them for their friendship. Neither we nor they experienced the level of class we were expecting, A couple days we had cold water, that is when we had water at all. We were there 4 nights and 5 days and asked each day for a second robe for our room. Never got it. Our friends didn't even get a single robe. We never received a full set of towels in spite of asking and asking. And don't even...

Amaryllis HotelBlantyre
6.4 van 10, (7 beoordelingen)
'What a waste of good money. This is such an overrated hotel. It is ridiculously expensive. I had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to ongoing construction past 10pm. The breakfast buffet is $40 usd, in the states it would be $18 max (I’m American). The airport shuttle is $60 and it seemed justified when I was told the airport was half hour away. I was shocked when we arrived in under 10 minutes. I literally felt robbed. Even with the high price of fuel, the fee should be no more...
