We got a room on first floor in the side where it seemed like people were living in the hotel - hanging out in the doorway and lots video games playing. Other room beside us was filled with dogs barking. The room smelled terrible so we walked out and turned our key in and chose to stay somewhere else. Very different than the pictures make it seem.'

'For a location with a cleaning fee, you would expect it to be clean upon arrival. It had clearly been “spot” cleaned, but we found stained, dirty sheets, dishes with food still on them and dirty bathrooms. There is an infestation of smallish black spiders in the master bedroom and bathroom. We had no communication from the owners, instead found notes left around the property with instructions. It was necessary for us to use air conditioning due to unseasonable warmness, but even with that the...

'I had to give this five stars despite a few suggestions. First, the positives: everything was clean, beds were comfortable, the house was beautiful as was the property, they had plenty of towels for us to use, the hot tub was great (although, extremely slippery when getting out), the shower was beautiful, and a good amount of kitchen supplies. This leads me to a couple of suggestions - it says up to 8 people can stay here but there is no place for a group of more than 4 to eat a meal together....

'This was by far the best stay we had since booking with VRBO. We stayed for a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday and everything was perfect. Ryan is a great host and provides great directions to the cabin and provided information about nearby attractions. This cabin is definitely secluded and off the path.
