By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. « Loved Cartapo Cottage. Proper quiet, surrounded by gums, galahs, and open land. The night sky was unreal — completely dark and full of stars.Clean, comfortable, and everything was easy. Chloe & Oliver were genuinely warm and welcoming too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape! »

« The room was absolutely wonderful and was very clean. It listed having kitchen facilities or having a kitchen. I would not call it a kitchen. Even a kitchenette is an exaggeration. They had a hot plate with a toaster oven under it and you could only use one or the other. The room was freezing and there was no heating in it. It was also communal other than that the setting is wonderful. »

« Lovely apartments very close to town and everything you need but still peaceful. Loved the balcony with fly screens! TV is huge and works from the sofa or bed. The only things that could be improved are providing salt and pepper, more than two mugs and turning off the automatic light in the bathroom (it's just too bright if you need the loo in the night). »
