The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). The ambience was warm and cosy with the gas log fire, comfortable bed and large bathroom complete with a claw footed bath. There is one toilet room, which worked fine for us but to be aware of if you have a larger group.
