'A wonderful lakefront retreat! The home is beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and situated on the quiet, clear waters of Lake Otsego. The sandy lake bottom and clean water made for excellent swimming and waterfront enjoyment. The new hot tub was a wonderful bonus and the outdoor fire place was a nice place to relax in the evenings. Peaceful mornings by the water, great local BBQ across the lake, and easy access to several excellent golf courses.'

'We found out that bunk beds don't work for old guys, One of the top bunks wasn't clean at check in. For a house that sleeps 12 there are only 8 plates.We did enjoy the fire pit and views of the lake at sundown were incredible.'

'We were very happy with the property, just disappointed that the fireplace did not work. I would suggest removing the fireplace as an amenity on your listing. I specifically look for properties that have a fireplace. The property was very clean and check in was easy. The rate was a little pricey but I am guessing it is because it was a holiday weekend? 'Our stay at Totem Lodge was great, very clean and nice up north decor, check in was easy. Restaurants close by as well as Cross in the Woods, very peaceful and quiet reflecting time in the woods.'

'Nice place but could use a little tlc.. clean but could use some updates. The kitchen wasn’t really furnished just coffee cream and spices. Was hard to manage the heat so was either hot hot or cold. The biggest thing for us was the drive not being cleared of all the snow. Was afraid to walk outside because of all the ice. Never did find the pool and hot tub usually there’s a book telling you what’s around. The TV kept going and the internet was slow…over all not a bad place probably nicer in the...
