'The breakfast ended at 9:00 a.m. Most motels end theirs at 9:30 on a weekday. That would be preferred.'

'Solid place.'

'I will give this a 3. Ok for just sleep. Although we had to turn off the air conditioning due to the smell in the room. Very musty. Filter was very dirty. Couldn’t open window; no screen and on ground level. There wasn’t a large variety for breakfast but what they had was good.'

'Erg vriendelijk personeel, kamers hebben wel extra onderhoud nodig.'

'This motel needs a deep clean and some renovations to make it worth staying at.'

'We loved the idea of an abandoned school being converted for multiple uses. Being educators it was fun staying in a school. Very close to beautiful hiking trails. Enjoyed our stay immensely!'

'Very nice. A lot of stairs for older people.'

'Place was dirty when we arrived. Bed was not a queen was supposed to be shower only but it was shower tub and was 2 ft high I have bad knees I had to go to daughter to shower. Bed and couch both stained oh and it’s right next door to fire station so we got woken up by sirens .As for ac it had a window unit in front room only so bedroom was hot. I would have canceled as soon as we saw it but Vrbo takes a week to refund and I didn’t have the money to go somewhere else!!!!'

'Two nights here and zero complaints on cleanliness or comfort. Free WiFi was decent for checking messages quickly.'

'Our group found the room had everything needed including kitchen items like a microwave for quick meals. Access from the highway was very convenient.'

'Excellent overall. Walking distance to the college and Lew Wallace study. Lots of history on the property alone to explore. Street parking only. My only complaint is that the windows are single pane glass and allow in a fair amount of ambient nose. '

'Beautiful property Would definitely stay there again '

'An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked. The gaucho grille was not appropriate for our needs: difficult to manage the heat and the grille surface does not work for burgers, etc. A conventional gas, propane, or charcoal grill would provide...

'It was clean and quiet. A small town motel that didn't disappoint.'
