'Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.'

'The home is beautiful and spacious! The couch in the living room was very comfortable and the TV was a smart tv so we could access apps we subscribed to and logged in. All the bedrooms also have TVs in them as well which was nice as some guests prefer to fall asleep with a tv on. The beds/pillows were great and we all felt like we were getting a good nights sleep. 'When I first walked into the lobby I was impressed with the decor and cleanliness. We were greeted by the front desk clerk Laura, who was friendly and accommodating. Check in went smoothly and soon after, we headed for the pool. It was clean, private and had plenty of lounges to sit on. Breakfast and dining area was very nice, and the attendant Rachel was refilling items so we never ran out of anything! 'Property is excellent. Lost water one night but that was it. Only 2 things I didn’t like was the 9pm cut off on use of the pool and that there was no staff onsite at night in case of emergency.'

'Perfectly clean room, excellent room rate, easy check-in experience, new fixtures in the bathroom, and a larger than usual mini-fridge. We would certainly stay here again! The manager allowed us to check-in a few hours early to freshen-up before attending a funeral, and then she waived the early check-in fee - CLASSY LADY!!'

'I reserved a room in April for June 6 and 7. We get the 15 minutes after check in time and told there are no rooms. I told the lady I had a reservation and she says "no room". We did this a few times figuring she thought I was looking to book. Getting frustrated, I went back to my car to show her the reservation confirmation. That's when I see an email from Expedia saying they can't accommodate me. The email was sent about 20 minutes before check in time. This is the second year in a row...
