« If you're a big railfan as myself, you'll love this place. It's a beautiful, amazing place, in a retro setting. The deck overlooking the local train tracks gives you some entertainment. We felt safe and secure during our stay. »

« The site advertised two queen-sized beds, but the place only has full-sized beds for their double rooms (I was there with my husband and pre-teenage son, so we needed two beds). Only two towels were allocated for the room; no washcloths, tissues, or even a trash can was/were provided. Dead bugs littered the floor. Crickets squeezed through the gap in the doorway and chirped in the room all night. The foot gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor in front of the floor-to-ceiling window...

« Extremely comfortable beds, fully stocked bath and kitchen had everything we needed for our morning coffee. Communication with the host was excellent. Check in and check out was simple, parking is right out front and nice restaurants within walking distance. »

« The River Front Get Away (locally known as the Bait Shop) was a perfect location for our family! Ted was the hostess with the mostest! From cornhole, firepit, water features, to bubbles for the babies. Our clan will be back for future gatherings and reunions! »

« It was an incredible stay in a peaceful, beautiful part of Texas. The hiking offered around the property was gorgeous with views of the surrounding terrain. We were warm after our hike so we swam in the pool, it was very clean and perfect temperature to help cool us down. The free roaming animals were sweet and beautiful, they greeted us shortly after arrival! The back porch was lovely for breakfast or coffee in the mornings. We mainly cooked outside on the grill and enjoyed a fire one night. It...
