'Zeer gedateerde en kleine appartementen. Doet me denken aan een jeugdherberg in de jaren 70. Het gebouw is in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Wat dat betreft stevige prijs die kennelijk alleen gebaseerd is op de ligging ten opzichte Tongariro National Park. Het skigebied bij Whakapa is echter nog steeds een half uur rijden, dus niet heel dichtbij. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.'

'A bit of a gem quite close to Dannevirke, and affordable too. Plenty of space inside, quite a large living and dining area actually. You can walk down the back of the yard and end up at a small river. Good breakfast provisions which we hardly touched as we'd turned up with a ton of food and drink. Was lovely to have a nap - and later a proper sleep - upstairs/mezzanine with the window fully open to catch the breeze and didn't have any bugs coming in to eat us. The heat pump works just fine but...
