'Beautiful cabin by the river.. loved it'

'Fantastic view, small and basic, functional kitchen, bed as okay but not very comfortable, location was easy access to town and not in the center. Individual cabin had nice privacy. Furnishing and amenities were adequate but basic. Could have been of higher quality.'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'The solarium and hot tub was a good distance away and was just a green house. I may have misunderstood when booking,but they made it seem like it was a part of the cabin.( the entire reason I spent $400 for one night) it was hard lugging my luggage to the cabin do to the railroad tie stairs being so far apart. 'I was pretty disappointed with my stay here.. I reached out to the host before check in asking for check in information, didn’t not hear back for over an hour and didn’t get to check in till after 5. The towels and blankets that were left for us were not clean either and noticeably stained… '
