'Amazing property! We stayed one night passing through from our northern adventure and it was the perfect place to rest and relax before getting back on the road. From the beautiful cabin, that is well organized, clean and tidy, to the air hockey table, which kept the kids occupied, and the huge fire pit outside. The property has character and is well maintained. My only regret is that we didn’t have more days to spend at the cabin! Will find a reason to stay again. Wonderful experience all...

'The cabin and property were in pristine condition and immaculately clean. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, linens and extra blankets/pillows were clean and plentiful, kayaks were in great shape and easy to navigate around the lovely and tranquil lake. Watching great blue heron take off from the shore and frogs croak away in pond, while sitting around the fire pit and barbecuing on the grill...we never wanted to leave! 'Absolutely perfect. We saw bald eagles, turtles, water snakes, fish jumping out of the water, birds catching their dinner, a comet and its’ following meteor shower, and so much more! The beach area is a slice of paradise. I never book the same vacation twice, but east Haddam showed my family so much beauty- both in nature and in people- and Ann’s perfectly outfitted home was exactly the escape from reality my soul needed.
