« Room was very nice up to date very clean all so, no carpeting when i stay in hotels they Have carpeting always feels dirty . here they have flooring and the bathroom is very nice has everything you need . It really feels like im in my bedroom. 🙂 will come back. Variety of coffee and creamer. Up to date coffee maker 🙂 »

« The property was very well decorated and appointed with anything you would need. It was clean and had all sorts of toiletries that you might need, which was a nice bonus. I felt safe walking outside at night with my dog as the area was very quiet. »

« Stone Haus is a beautiful property and a comfortable, cozy place to stay. Linda and Larry are such lovely hosts and their dog Maddie was a fun addition to our stay. The breakfast was delicious! We look forward to staying at Stone Haus again the next time we visit Hermann. »

« Beautiful property off the beaten path! We found this gem while traveling between cities and wanted to visit Hermann for a night. It was peaceful & quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was great! We took a nice walk along the golf course after breakfast and checked out the property. Highly recommend! »

« Our host was easy-going when he greeted us at the door. The bed was very comfy, the room was quite large, and we loved being within walking distance of everything in Hermann. This place looks exactly like the guest bedroom your grandma's house. I wouldn't call the room secure (we never got an actual key for our room? maybe I'm too used to City Life!) Very quirky, this is not the place to stay if you need modern, updated accommodations. We had a great time exploring the town and would stay here...

« We stayed on our way home from Texas to Michigan and this was the perfect spot. Very easy to check in-lots of lighting even though we came after dark-which helped immensely. We hauled a small trailer and Shawn was very accommodating for parking. The homemade bread was a very warm welcome after being on the road all day and the whole cabin felt warm and homey. We were able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch before heading out, and being able to listen and walk around was a great way to start...

« It’s a room in a museum. So much cool history. A great location close to everything in Hermann. The host gave us a short tour of the property and offered complimentary drinks. Be warned, the walls are a bit thin to outside noise but a fan helped mitigate it »
