'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'Although Dax Cabins are a work in progress, we had a great stay. We arrived early and the owner/manager was very accomodating, getting us into our room. Our party of four were in a deluxe cabin with two queen beds. The room was small but adequate. It was updated and very clean. The bathroom was tiny but beautifully remodelled. The location is great - especially if headed to the Wild Center. Overall very pleased with our stay.'

The only thing that need a little help is the tavern there a laid there who been there for 15 year she said need a little help paying attention to her customers she take a long time to get orders and drinks. When u look out the windows u see so much even these bird.'

'handige locatie middenin Malone, hartelijke ontvangst, 24/7 koffie in de lobby, redelijk ontbijt met warme wafels, geen vieze vloerbedekking maar mooi schoon licht zeil in de kamer. De Exc King Room heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een nacht en als je nog wat wilt werken. Internet was snel en bij het boeken via internet hebben ze rekening gehouden met mijn wensen. Zeker een aanrader!'

'The cabin all great amenities. Would have liked a bit bigger fridge but everything else was great. Beds were very comfortable. Clean. Great shower pressure with warm water. Close to town and the water. Outdoor space was great. Lovely porch, nice fireplace. Owner greeted us but didn't see much after that but he did tell us if we had any questions feel free to get in touch. His place was on the same property. We were fine. Our girls had fun fishing in the pond on the property. All...

'Such a cute apartment! My kids loved it, thought it felt like a tree fort. Lots of games to play. Would definitely stay here again.'
