'Great place in a great town, perfect location with excellent views on Mirror Lake. We had an awesome 4 nights, and did not want to leave!'

'Upon entering our room, there was a strong, foul odor that appeared to be related to moisture or dampness. Initially, I assumed the odor was the result of recent cleaning, but there was no improvement by the following morning. I reported the issue to the front desk and was advised that there were no other rooms available that night. As compensation for the discomfort, I was told that we would be refunded for that night and that we would be moved to another room the following day. Unfortunately,...

'Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’hôtel, l’emplacement, la décoration, le service était très bon. Point bonus pour le lobby et la véranda, très joli. Seul point négatif est la grosseur de la chambre, elle est très petite nous sommes resté surpris. Pas de garde-robe, de meuble pour ranger les vêtements, de divan, seulement un lit.'

'We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the overall experience. One suggestion that would make the hotel even better for families would be to add a playground or more outdoor activities for young children. Having a safe outdoor space where little ones could play would be a great addition and would make the hotel even more family-friendly.'

'Was a really cool stay overall! Had a few inconveniences like no standing shower available in the room we had or microwave past 8pm. Feels very outdoorsy which is still nice, very cabin in the woods vibe and refreshing mornings. Assuming previous guest rolled luggage in room and placed bags on the bed runner and it wasn’t cleaned. Had to request clean sheets but staff were pretty responsive and pleasant. Area is great can take a quick trolly to main street for free or even walk.'

'Overall a very good 2-day stay. Check‐in was ok. The elevators were out of order. So we had to use the service elevators. But the check-in itself was very easy. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to provide great service. We had a room on Main street. So it was a bit noise, especially when the garbage truck picked up garbage. I suggest trying to get a room on the parking lot side. The location was great- near everything!'

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'Absolutely lovely hotel. We did not receive our code for our room so we needed to reach out to staff for that. The room was clean and I loved that is had a king size bed and twin, perfect for small families. Lovely lakefront access with boats to use.'
