'Great hotel and staff. We have had more than 15 hotels this trip, but this one was the best! Good service, friendly staff and a lot of things to do. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and I hope to come back one day.'

'Kuerig in room super loud and took forever. Bathroom towels could rub your skin off use with caution. Bed was super hard like laying on a hard wooden bench. Other than that it wasn’t bad if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the room. Balcony was really nice.'

'I don’t think it was an exceptional stay like a lot of the other reviews stated. The heater is so loud when it comes on and it comes on a lot to maintain the 69-70 degrees we wanted. There were cob webs in the ceiling light and off the bathroom door. In front of our entrance door there was a big hairball and it could have used some sweeping. Would we stay there again probably not.'

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'
