'Very cozy hotel in the small quiet town of Shiroshi. We stayed here only one night for easy access to the Zao Fox Sanctuary the following day, it was well worth all the effort to go and see. Easy access to Shinkansen bullet train, and a Family Mart right across the street.'

'Great traditional Japanese Ryokan. They were comfortable with foreigners and did thier best to make us feel welcome. The Onsen was a wonderful and the dinner and breakfast provided were amazing. Probably some of the best Miso I have had. If you are not familiar with Onsen, I recommend watching a YouTube video or two to get an idea of what needs to be done. It is about a 15 minute Taxi ride to the Zao Fox Village, which is worth visiting as well.'
