« Nuit dans le cockpit. Hébergement insolite ! Un peu vieillissant et pas forcément très confortable, mais le nécessaire y est, et tout est fonctionnel ! Bonne expérience. Bien situé, proche des waitomo caves et de quelques restaurants. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. »

« Motel très vieillot, triste, peu confortable et avec pas mal d'insectes volants. D'ailleurs, à notre arrivée, il y avait une odeur d'insecticide ! Wifi restreint. »

« Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. »

« Amazing how they were able to equip the train carriage with modern amenities while retaining the original charm. Bath was an add on unit with full fixtures but integrated with the train. Good AC and heating options and nice kitchenette. Check out the fabulous Hobbit and ferrry boat options. »

« This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay. »
