« Great location but very tired and dirty! We paid £222 for a premium room mid week. The location is lovely but this is not for anyone with limited mobility.. the hotel itself is a rabbit warren with steps everywhere. Our room was awful. Chipped and outdated furniture, smelly bathroom, tv unwired, filthy windows, grubby in places. The dining room was mainly ok and the food the same. « Chambre exiguë, à se demander si ce n'était pas une chambre de bonne reconvertie (3 m de large sur 4 m de long), eau bouillante pour la douche à 2 reprises (2 matinées de suite) : merci pour les migraines de la journée ! Pas de wifi dans les chambres : nécessité de se rendre dans les salons et à l'accueil situés au rez de chaussée pour se connecter à internet avec smartphone et pc portable. »

« We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again. »

« Beautiful location and friendly host and staff who did everything to make our stay a memorable experience. As we and other guests were visiting the Teddy Swims event in Scarborough the host played his video in the lounge and waited for everyone to return after the event. Property is dated but as the saying goes “if it works don’t fix it.” »

« I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was very quiet and peaceful and enjoyed sitting outside at the rear. There's no problem parking. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only criticism I have is, about the shower room. It needs something to put your toiletries on. There is a small glass shelf above the wash basin, but that is taken up by the complimentary toiletries and 2 glasses. Even without them it's only a small shelf. « For the cost of the room I expected more modern decor and room facilities. Very basic bath/shower combo, basic tea making facilities and dated decor/room furniture. The view from the room was fantastic but the view alone shouldn’t warrant such high prices. »

« Good sized room, really comfy bed! Good supply of tea and cofee. Only issue I had was window doesn't shut properly but was a mikd 2 nights so wasnt bothered. A really good priced stay and nice and close fo town centre and the cricket ground »
