'Hotel Samudra has a sea view room exactly like the picture but there were laundry sheets everywhere next to the lift on the first floor. No toilet roll and soap in the toilet. So average. But it's local to everything. Walking distance to the temple and the boat.'

'Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. '
