« We loved the hotel location outside of the village, yet very easily accessible by free shuttle bus. The ski in ski out formula with ski rentals on the spot, and possibility to access other ski resorts. Quite small rooms with tiny prefab bathrooms, but super clean. Beds extemely comfortable. Very lovely, helpful staff, great breakfast and night buffets, and a lot of snow ! »

« From my suite and bathtub, I had a stunning mountain view. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were cordial and polite. Although, I do wish the staff showed more Japanese culture customer service toward information and concierge services. Being at a Ritz Carlton Reserve hotel, I think the sophistication and quality of the onsen, gym, spa and in-house skiwear boutique weren't up to par. Those areas felt like I was at a Marriott hotel instead of a Ritz Carlton Reserve. »

« An older property with some quirks, but the location is ideal, and the staff wonderful! The in-room mini onsen a gift after a day of skiing. A close walk to all the fun restaurants and shops of Hirafu, and the ski in/ out access is ideal. Shout out to the front desk team who answered all questions and helped us book a car at the last minute when uber flaked. »

« Nice new hotels, nice onsens, close to slopes, very efficient shuttle service, nice team. Still feels like soft opening with teething issues (ie the thermostat of our room was not functioning so we left window open to mitigate). nice breakfast and afuri restaurant. nice view ofYotei and hirafu »
