'Beautiful hotel close to the city of Arundel. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's plenty of options on the hotel ground itself to entertain you including a golf course. Currently a part of the hotel is in repairs so make sure you check on the status of it before you go.'

'Excellent experience.'

'Beautiful, historical venue. Really special. Additional premium/luxury touches could help elevate it to 5*. It has the potential. Food is great.'

'The room was really hot as there is no A/C and the window only opened about 2 inches. However, there was a fan in the wardrobe. Sadly, though, the fan operated on a two hour timer, so I was up every two hours or so turning it back on. Not conducive to a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable enough, though I don't like feather pillows. The shower curtain in installed too far into the bath and constantly sticks to you. Annoying! I didn't use the WiFi, and the TV was fine. The water...

'Staff were lovely'

'Lovely room & gardens, great place for walking and exploring the South Downs'

'Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for..'

'Once probably a very poice hotel. Now without proper maintanance overpriced and very noisy. We had a good room, premium, although the fridge in the room was taken out, light in the bathroom didn’t function. Breakfast was very poor, very basic with almost nothing to choose from. Spa was ok.'

'Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!'

'Leuke traditionele pub in prachtig stadje.

'Nice ancient but good warm water, nice bed, quite environment and nice personel'

'Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good.'

'Old characteristic building. Room was very noisy and not clean, mold in the bathroom and barely water from the shower.'

'Uiterst vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel. Zeer behulpzaam. We kregen goede tips over de omgeving. Zeer rustige omgeving. Wij zijn hier 4 dagen geweest en voelden ons erg welkom. De lounge was geweldig. Zelfs de open haard werd aangestoken. Goed ontbijt. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf!'

'We had a fantastic interaction with Matt the owner when we arrived. He told us everything we needed to know about the property and parking, asked if we needed help with our luggage. Told us about breakfast places. Was overall super friendly which was a great start. The room was super clean with towels laid on the bed, tea and coffee waiting with sugar and water and cookies. Bathroom was spotless. There was a welcome letter waiting for us outlining all we needed to know. Great stay. Will...
