« It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

« The cottage was exactly as described!A fire had been lit and kept the place warm, ready for our arrival. It made for an extra cozy night after travelling 4 hours.Charlie popped in for a few afternoon visits, what a handsome boy!We also managed to hike up the trail behind the cottage for some spectacular views!Could not recommend this place enough, it truly hits all the marks! »

« Great house and gardens, lovely location, well equippped, open fires were an unexpected highlight. Great for family gathering. Slightly disapointed that the gardens hadn;t been mown for probably a month, only two tea-towels, no dishcloth, too few dishwashing powder tabs. Having said that, we had a wonderful weekend in a great location, a lovely spacious property. »
