'Gewoon een hotel. Niet meer niet minder. Niks gezellig. Ontbijt was buffet, was in orde. Kamer was proper. Badkamer ruim. Maar matras was verschrikkelijk. Ook het zetelbed voor de kids lag oncomfortabel. '

'We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. 'Like at most HIE hotels it was a pleasant stay. The staff made the effort dressing up Halloween style today. That made breakfast feisty. Room and shower were great. Restaurant and breakfast functional and more than exceptional for those who don't want to go out. '

'You get what you pay for. This is a clean and tidy property in a great place to visit Stratford etc. Free parking. The place however looked tired and in need of a bit of tlc. The tv didn’t work which was a bit disappointing since the WC semi final was on.'

'Stay clear! Don’t know when the photos were taken but it’s not like that now! We arrived at house and knocked door to get access to lodge… no answer! Just a faded note we couldn’t read and guttering falling around front door. Anyway thought we would go to lodge to see if we could find anyone only to find mouldy doors, cracked dirty render, rusty cars in parking area and piles of junk outside every door to lodges! Hence we left and booked a holiday inn which was good! I’ve asked for a refund...

'Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.'

'Lovely historical property in a quiet area. Safe parking. Very convenient to local pubs and eateries. No breakfast, but breakfast and lunch available at local cafe on site. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable.'
