'We had a great stay. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and communicative before we came up. We will definitely use again, next time we come up and stay!'

'Gewoon een hotel. Niet meer niet minder. Niks gezellig. Ontbijt was buffet, was in orde. Kamer was proper. Badkamer ruim. Maar matras was verschrikkelijk. Ook het zetelbed voor de kids lag oncomfortabel. '

'Like at most HIE hotels it was a pleasant stay. The staff made the effort dressing up Halloween style today. That made breakfast feisty. Room and shower were great. Restaurant and breakfast functional and more than exceptional for those who don't want to go out. '

'In the first room TV and various lights weren’t working, they gave me a second room and heating didn’t work initially. Mattress was very poor and uneven to sleep on, you could feel every spring. Biscuits on floor down back of work desk, a faulty leaking shower head, the list goes on. It became apparent wondering around the hotel that it was an old Hilton that’s been taken over at some point and can only presume it hasn’t been updated since it was built in the 90’s I’m presuming. 'Restaurant zal over een poosje weer open gaan, verder prima.'

'Stayed a few times and always superb!'

'Paul was a great host. The lodge was comfortable and perfect for us attending a wedding nearby. The room has a fridge and a microwave, as well as tea and coffee. The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.'

'Location of the hotel conveniently close to the town centre. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful.'

'I was disappointed by the quality of the room in that a number of pieces of furniture were excessively worn down (the desk chair, the bedhead as examples). This created a poor impression. Other aspects were of a normal standard. I also thought that certain parts of the outside property were poorly maintained; for example I found two abandoned tool kits close to my car that appear to have been there quite some time. The shrubs were overgrown and retricting the parking area for the cars.'

'Lovely house. Brilliant location same great communication'
