« I found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and well equipped, the allocated parking space is great to have as street parking can be challenging in Keswick. The location is perfect, quiet with only a short walk into town. I'd certainly book again unless I decided to take bikes as there didn't appear to be anywhere for storing them. The welcome tray of tea and coffee etc. was much appreciated after a long drive, thank you. »

« Very clean and spacious, warm and cosy with log burner. Beds very comfortable, shower superb, kitchen well equipped only drawback dishwasher didnt work. »

« The view of the mountains is stunning. The house is comfortable with plenty of space. It is well equipped with a delightful garden. Portinscale is a lovely setting with a very nice cafe and pub. »

« We had a lovely stay at Millside, the location was perfect. Great walks in the area and very easy to get into Keswick. We hired extra items, that were there when we arrived and the customer team was very quick to respond to an issue we had. Parking was good, but I wouldn't say there was space for two cars. Would be good to have some bits in the kitchen like a set of scales and a rolling pin. But apart from that, we had everything we need and we will be back. »

« We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...

« Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area. »

« We have recently returned from a 4 night break at Tawny cottage. Already knowing the Keswick area well we knew Portinscale would suit us well - outside the bustle of Keswick but within easy walking distance down a nice path, and easy access to local country walks. The cottage was immaculate in both cleanliness and decor - and well equipped - with off street parking. Our adult daughter had the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds ( would have been a perk if was 2 singles which could be set up as a King...

« We had a lovely stay. Perfect location. Great size. Nice and homely. Beds comfy. Kitchen Well equipped. We had doggy welcome packs and an essentials kit. Milk coffee etc. very useful arriving late. Close parking and bonus car park across the way. Downsides…. The shower didn’t drain great and the overall cleanliness could have been better. For us a grassed area would have been handy for fussy dogs but we just went over the road. None of the minuses would stop us from re booking. Keswick...
