'Highly recommend this property in heart of Keswick. The property is finished to a very high standard immaculate and ideal for a stay with family or friends. The 2 parking permits that are allocated for the duartion of stay with choice of car park was great. Don't have any negative things to say. Thank you for a lovely stay.'

'Het enigste minpuntje is de parkeerplaats. Deze is voor 2 auto's wat maar net gaat. Als men met een grote auto moet parkeren, en de andere cottage is ook verhuurd, die ook een grote auto hebben. Is het onmogelijk te parkeren.'

'Brandlehow is the perfect place to relax and refuel. The location is superb, nestled in the woodlands and on the shores of Derwentwater. Most days began with a coffee overlooking the lake, watching the sunrise and the cloud disperse. Beautiful walks from the doorstep and of course a lot of kayaking right from the door. The water levels were incredibly high when we arrived so couldn't make the best use of the launches as we have in the past but enjoyed a trip later in the week. The footpath...

'Maiden Moor exceeded all expectations. As soon as we walked in it felt inviting as someone had left the heating on for us and smelt very fresh and clean. Had all the home comforts and facilities you could need and very good quality. Highlight was the electric reclining furniture especially after a long walk! Also the location and having 2 parking spaces was such a treat if anyone knows Keswick so being able to walk into town or to Booths across the road was a real bonus!'

'This is a top notch cottage in terms of position, so near great walking and good food. Very comfortable, plenty of hot water, warm and cosy, enough comfy seats for everyone! The kitchen is well equipped but if you are going for more than a weekend, I would recommend taking dish washing tabs, washing up liquid etc or pick it up from the village shop which is at the end of the lane. If you're around for Sunday lunch, I can heartily recommend The Coledale Inn, we had a fabulous meal there. I'

'The property is in an excellent location. Communication with Keswick cottages prior to our arrival and the information provided is also excellent. We were a party of ten and the accommodation was spacious enough for us all. The bedrooms are all a really good size and generally everyone agreed the beds and pillows were all comfortable. The bed on the 3rd floor was in need of some attention as it was a metal bed that was squeaky and had a lot of movement in the frame. The kitchen is well equipped...

'There was only one fault and that was the settees were really uncomfortable for us and we couldn’t relax otherwise everything else was spot on'
