'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...

'A lovely place to stay no doubt. We had a comfortable 3 nights stay. The staff were lovely. The location was amazing. The rooms were a bit small. We did have a cotbed but it could still be a bit bigger for the kind of hotel it is. The mattress were a bit on the harder side for our liking but it depends on what you are used to. The hotel was a bit too hot for the weather. We had to keep our window open slighly and turn off the room heating completely but it was still a bit hot as the lobby was...

'Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. We didn’t have dinner there, as prices were over the top, compared with what we were paying in other locations on our trip around the UK. '

"Een zeer charmant hotel in typische UK-stijl. Alles was top! Ik kan dit hotel zeker aanbevelen. Ook een ideaal hotel voor mensen die hun hond graag mee op vakantie nemen. En een ideale plaats als vertrekpunt voor tal van wandelingen. Enige minpuntje is dat er geen airco op de kamer is. Maar dat is in de meeste manors niet te vinden. 😉 Dus enkel bij zeer tropische temperaturen zou ik een andere locatie zoeken. "
