'I chose this place for its location near Mingus Park and the fact that it looked quiet. It was one of the best appointed rentals I’ve stayed at—every little thing I needed and went looking for could be found (except a pen or pencil). 'Everything was fine except.... The dishwashing detergent provided was useless! It took a huge amount of it to even begin to remove any fat from the dishes. Junk! At home, we use a generic brand that works well, but not this. UGH!! The little cottage was cute, the view was amazing! Overall, we had a good time. I thought about a 3 star review because of the soap, though..'

'The property is nicer than I anticipated. It is an old motel, but so peaceful and quiet. The room was clean. Bathroom could use some updates, but overall I was impressed and comfortable. I am picky about sheets and would have appreciated higher quality. Overall, it was a great experience. We would stay there again.'

'This is a great spot for a getaway in the Coos Bay Area. Close to the downtown area, and a a short drive to beautiful state beaches as well as dunes. Very spacious and comfortable. Margaret was super responsive. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck area. Highly recommend this property!'

'We stayed in this lovely, big home and loved having so much room to spread out. The location is on a very busy street but it's quiet at night. The host was very attentive and quick to respond to everything. However, please note that the listing states it is wheelchair accessible, but it is not. There are several short flights of stairs required to access the house with no alternative paths.'

Each shuttle was 100.00 per way when I was told by property owner that is was 60.00 if you booked in advance the boat launch company said it has not been that low in price in over ten years.
