'We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

Dank der dicken Natursteinmauern ist es im Haus auch bei 30°C Außentemperatur angenehm kühl. Die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein. Beste Zutaten gibt es im ca. 5 km entfernten Aunac sur Charente bei einem kleinem Lebensmittelgeschäft mit sehr freundlichen Inhabern, einem lokalen Fleischer gleich nebenan, sowie in einer kleinen feinen Bäckerei. 'An absolutely beautiful space in an amazingly beautiful setting. The hostess couldn't do enough for us and was helpful and welcoming even when our dog kept stealing her dog's toys. Cannot recommend enough!'
