'I was given a king suite on the top floor of the second building. The stairs up to it were rickety and when I opened the door to the room bugs scattered. The floors hadn't been cleaned and there were live and dead bugs in the bathroom as well. I asked for a different room and it was in the other building. It was better, but there were still a few roaches and the ceiling was dropping bits of plaster.'

'I forfeited a 7 day upon arrival to actually see the full room.Bed bugs, slick loose flooring , broken glass all over the bath area, leaking faucets pests crawling in and out the space underneath the door, broken light fixtures…Just a TERRIBLE hotel/ suite/studio whatever they advertise it as ! AVOID! No return on my deposit either!'

'The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was very cozy and peaceful. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck that looks out over a small lake. We did not make use of them, but we noticed there were kayaks available, fishing docks and a rustic gazebo on the property. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again when in the area. Gloria was very friendly and helpful.'

'Was only able to use the hot tub for 1 night instead of 2 due to it not heating up, instructions for it were hard to read without standing in the hot tub to see. Beds were slightly uncomfortable, but had plenty of space. Oddly there was frozen chicken in the freezer and a loofah in the shower that was there on arrival.'

'The host was great! She made sure to communicate with me until we arrived.Easy to find, out in the country, in the middle of nowhere, which was perfect for us. Hot tub had good jets & worked great. There was even a sauna. Great spot to stop for some R&R.'

'Absolutely stunning cabin! When we arrived there was an extreme heat wave 90 degrees. They had that AC cranked and incredibly comfortable for our arrival.The quality of the furniture, fixtures, and even down to the light switches are brand new! Highly recommend if you are looking to disconnect and relax out in nature. The other cabins are right next to you, but still feel slightly secluded.'

'The Cozy Cottage #1 was a fun place to take our grandkids for a brief stay. The two lofts with queen beds and the front porch swing were a hit with them! Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had full-sized appliances, and surroundings were quiet. It was great for an overnight stay to enjoy the area state parks!'

'Bill and Becky were very great at communicating with us and giving us any information we needed before our visit. We found the house to be charming and well kept. We really enjoyed the view of the lake from the kitchen. '

'This was our second time staying here. It was even better than the last time. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, and then relaxing in the ac so we can do it all again. We will be back again'

'We love the peacefulness and the expanse of the property and that we can bring our dog! No wifi and some cell service, but we are good with that it helps get away from it all, this is our 3rd visit and we will be back! '

'It was the best spot to stay. Had everything we needed! Wish we had more time though to really use the hot tub, my boyfriend did it the morning of checking out and regrets not being able to use it more'
