'The house was a very practical base for exploring the MD Eastern Shore. It is a comfortable house with an idyllic setting beside the water and with shade trees that do not obscure the view but do provide shade at the water’s edge. Plenty of windows from the kitchen/dining room, downstairs living room, and table tennis room open up the water views. The setting is relatively quiet, just a little background noise from a distant bridge, and we saw Great Blue Heron’s and Canadian Geese in the water....

'This is a charming little inn conveniently located right in St Michaels. The staff was great, the rooms clean, and plenty of parking. In the warmer months you can enjoy the pool and roomy outdoor seating areas.'

'Onze kamer (3 hoog) had uitzicht op de baai, mooi dus. In de buurt zijn er genoeg restaurantjes om lekker te eten. Het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen, maar ach, genoeg mogelijkheden in de directe omgeving. Wel koffie of thee op de kamer. Het sfeertje van Kent Narrows is vrij uniek. Dit hotel gekozen omdat de kamer een balkon heeft en het verder van de snelweg af is dan de andere 2 hotels. Via de Bay bridge ben je na een half uur in Annapolis of rij je in 1 uur naar de buitenwijken van Washington DC....

'The hotel was very nice, but what made our stay so enjoyable was the Staff. In particular, both Mark McCullough at the front desk and Edda in housekeeping were exceptional. Mark was so warm and welcoming and kind at the front desk. He just couldn't have done anything more to make our stay better. As for Edda, when we were trying to combine two reservations, such that we could stay in the same room throughout our visit, she came down to the front desk to help facilitate the matter. To my...
