'Alles was erg schoon'

'Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!'

'New hotel under construction from expansion it was a bit disorderly. Spacious rooms, perfect bedding, nice shower. View from the window on the hallway of the longstay facility. Breakfast could use an upgrade with less plastic and better wholewheat bread. '

'Staff were nice, this is a very old Travelodge. The pool was in working order. The location was near most shops and restaurants. '

'The hotel is located in a beautiful area, and we had a lovely view of the bay from our room. The room itself was very well equipped and comfortable. The only issue we had was with cleanliness. Some of the white towels had yellow stains, and the lower shelves of the bedside tables were dusty and sticky. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. '

'Our room on the second floor was very noisy due to activity at the swimming pool until 11pm, which was directly under our room, and from the occupants of the room above us. The noise was due to the construction of the building, not necessarily the occupants of the room. The wood joist construction material allows noise to penetrate from one floor to the next. So our seven hour sleep turned out to be a five hour sleep. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage—the location is fantastic and the property itself has so much charm. It definitely has the true cottage feel, meaning not everything is “perfect,” but that’s part of its character. For example, we noticed some cobwebs, the lighting could be better, and there was a bit of clutter around the back.
