'The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake'

'The Cottage and the property were both outstanding. The home had everything you could possibly need plus the owner, Lisa, had little extras such as snacks in the refrigerator. The property is absolutely beautiful and the creek out front was soothing to the soul. We saw deer, geese and all kinds of pretty birds.
