Vakantiehuizen in Barrow County

'The Hive is a great place to stay and location is very convenient for events in Athens, Ga. and other towns nearby. Laura, the host, responds quickly when you have questions. We will definitely be using the Hive the next time we are able to come to the area.'

'What a fabulous house! Our group was just in town for one night for a wedding, but had we known about this jewel, we would have planned to come a day or two earlier or stay a day or two later. The house was beautiful, convenient, and so comfortable. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!'

'Very clean and well maintained!'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. Nearby in Winder there are some really great local places to go.We all liked the mix of older farm house charm with the more modern decor and remodel. I would recommend to my friends and would also stay here again.'

'If you are physically challenged or a senior citizen, this is not for you. You park off the driveway. Then walk across the lawn with a grade, then walk about a 30 yard path on uneven 1’ pavers, careful not to stumble;there is a 6’ drop into the neighbors yard. You are offered to park on the street. During my four days I never noticed any other car parked on the street; worried someone would drive up the rise of the street and then be greeted with my car.'

'Perfect spot to go back and forth to campus. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Fran’s home is beautiful, very spacious, tastefully decorated and everything we needed for our stay.'

'Great house and we greatly enjoyed the peaceful location. We were in town for work and was great to be able to have a comfortable place to rest wash night.'

'Nice, cozy, comfortable home in close proximity to Athens, GA where we were attending a wedding. Nicely appointed with updated features. Very close to downtown Jefferson. Owner was very responsive to questions.'

'The studio is perfect. We stayed with our dog, and they had a water bowl out for him and everything. The fenced yard was so convenient and sure beats having to get dressed, go down the elevator, and take your dog on a walk outside a hotel first thing in the morning. We’ll be back!'

'This was a wonderful experience. The host family was charming, considerate, and very accommodating. The pictured stairway is the entrance to the host's single family home. The host family lives upstairs over the one bedroom, one bathroom, work from home (wfh) studio apartment, which is on the ground floor. Everything was clean. The "kitchen" has a small (dorm size) refrigerator/freezer, sink, griddle, microwave, a coffeepot, some cabinet storage and a counter area. Folgers coffee, coffee...

'Host was very accommodating and everything was as described. We appreciated the fresh eggs, water and condiments that were provided. Wanted a unique place and that is exactly what we got. Host provides a lot of information and check in and check out could not have been easier. Thank you so much.'

'Very nice place and very clean. I am a stickler for cleanliness and this place was great! I love how they had toiletries in the bathroom (even q-tips). Would definitely stay again when in the area.'

'Everything was amazing.'

'Everything was perfect! The host took care of everything and made the check in process simple. And they provided us with all the essentials. Finding a nice property within walking distance of Sanford Stadium that is reasonably priced is hard to find. I’d definitely stay here again!'

'Perfect for a weekend in Athens! Can't beat the location.'

'This is a really cool, unique property. It’s a former industrial building turned into a living space. Check in and communication with owner was excellent The linens were luxurious. There is a coffee spot nearby and we discovered frose (frozen wine) just a few steps away.'

'The house was clean and nicely renovated and decorated. Communication with the host was easy and she responded quickly. The house is on a main road but bedrooms are in the back of the house so road noise at night wasn’t bad. Only a few suggestions to improve future stays. There were no washcloths and only 5 towels for 2 people staying 4 nights. If we had access to a washer I could have washed them to reuse. The only other suggestion is a roll of paper towels or napkins in the kitchen.'

'Zach and Tiffany are super easy to deal with and quick to respond to all needs. It was good for what we needed for a quick golf trip'
