'Sewer smell in the room. It was not possible to change the room, because they “fixed” the problem. But smell stays for all 4 days. Air conditioning works very bad. Bed sheets were changed after only 3 days when I asked them to change. Outdated hotel, there are plenty hotels in the area at the same price level.'

'A great hotel situated at the best end of the promenade offering beautiful views of the sea and flame towers (sea view rooms). Breakfast is lavish and the staff go out of their way to accomodate different food choices (we are vegetarians). Only on one day room was not serviced and had to remind them for it.'

'Check in was easy and welcoming. However, the keycard did not work and I called reception and then I had to go back downstairs for them to actually register the keycard. The facilities were good with a nice and spacious gym and pool with a refreshing water machine to drink at your disposal. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in this hotel but not much around the area. The most disappointing thing would have had to have been the breakfast service. 'Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! 'Het is een slecht hotel. Klantvriendelijkheid ,service is zondermeer beneden peil. Volstrekt geen oog voor klant. Het interesseert ze niets.'

'The rooms are beautiful and the location next to the slopes is just perfect! Do take into account that Shahdag is not like skiing in the Alps, very few experienced skiers and most people walk on the slopes to take selfies and don’t ski. But overall a pleasant experience!'
