'Good'

'The only problem we had was being on the first floor and a smoking area was right outside our room. Smoke came into our room through the air conditioning system. To make matters worse someone started smoking pot outside our room. We reported it to management and they offered us 10,000 Holiday Inn bonus points. I feel they did all they could to help. I would not recommend staying on the first floor.'

'Ran out of hot water in the shower, air cooler was not working properly room felt like a sauna.'

'This hotel was surprisingly great! The entire place, and my room were completely spotless and the staff were incredibly helpful. Full breakfast (not just continental) was included and it was delicious! I'll absolutely stay here again when I visit Sault Ste Marie.'

'This hotel has been recently renovated and is quite possibly the best hotel that we have stayed at for a very long time. Truely a standout property, we enjoyed our 2 night stay at this outstanding hotel. Highly recommend to anyone contemplating staying here.'

'Expedia customers rarely get main-floor rooms. Not surprisingly, my room was on the 2nd floor. I am a senior and asked for a main floor room as there is no elevator. That request was declined. I asked for assistance with my luggage up the stairs to the 2nd floor. That was declined.'

'Place was clean and we had everything we needed. Parking was good. Coffee, tea and cookies in the office was great. Friendly service.'

'The room was a good size. The bathroom was good, but the floor in the room was terrible. It was some cheap vinyl flooring that was installed very poorly and was squashy when you walk on it. Also there was dirt on the floor in the room. The staff was a bit short with us also. Just overall not up to what I would expect at a Best Western.'
