Paleizen in Bedford

'The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. '

'Oud landhuis, erg mooi en authentiek. Kamer was prima. Ik vind persoonlijk douchen in bad niet fijn, maar de douche was prima. De kamer was erg warm, verwarming kon niet kouder. Gelukkig zijn de ramen enkel glas en het raam open. Krijgen de vogeltjes t warm en wat frisse lucht binnen '

'Bed bugs in the bed, windows full of spiderwebs, the other room we had , had a seek from bathroom sink which smelt of sewage. And the air conditioning didn’t work'

'Very nice accomodation and employees. Furniture a bit old but room of good size and comfortable shower. Only thing is that the heating system is turned off during the day and only switches in at 18.00 hrs ( except when it’s really freezing outside)'

'The property is lovely and has a very traditional English feel which we appreciated, however the entire property lacks any ventilation/airflow - suffice to say there is also no air conditioning - which made the rooms simply insufferable during a heat wave. Recognizing that the climate has changed, management needs to provide at minimum a fan per room to enable some degree of ventilation and air movement during summer months if they expect guests to be able to sleep and enjoy the facilities.'
