B&B in Bedford

'We stopped for 1 night. It was raining heavy for the last hour of journey and using as a bed/stop off on route to Heathrow. I kind of misunderstood where I was going and surprised to realize that this, basically, is a b&b. For a bed for the night, at this price, I would expect a more comfortable bedroom. It was cold. There is obviously a property thermostat that comes on/off but the temp drops fast where the room is so it would slowly get cold then warm up which makes for an unpleasant nights...

'Schone kamer, nette douche, ruim genoeg, heel aardig personeel, good breakfast. Easy to book extra night. '

'A little gem! Hospitable, great food, well stocked bar, comfortable bed and a good shower. Parking a little sketchy if you're arriving after dark, but a good welcome, clear instructions and helped up the stairs to my room. Dog welcome too (no charge). Simon the landlord is the proper English gentleman, the pub is a well-established proper English pub, and I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here for a reasonably (sensibly) priced base if you're visiting this part of the world on holiday or on...

'Eenvoudig maar goede overnachting op doorreis. Het aangeboden ontbijt is geroosterd brood met jam. Verder niets, erg simpel Wel vlak ernaast een goed restaurant indisch.'

'Great location for us (friends in Denford) Beverley (the owner) was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little greasy for me. Quite a heavy farm smell in the morning.'

'A'

'Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, reliable wifi for business travelers. I arrived before check in time and the owner was very kind and gave me another room that was ready. Local community is very close but kind to outsiders. Convenience store very close by. Will definitely stay there again when I travel to that area. Thank you Jaimie and crew, I truly enjoyed my stay!'

'Perfectly clean and modern. Just the right amount of communication and help from the host. Highly recommend!'

'Lovely room, tasty breakfast, friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings. Recommended.'

'Very nice people, everything about the room was good. Nice breakfast with many options. Recomended '

'Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.'

'Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt für zwei Nächte, um die Harry Potter Studios Tour zu machen. Dafür ist die Lage absolut perfekt! Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel und der Kontakt zu Anna und ihrer Tochter war sehr nett.'

'Vriendelijke mensen en nette kamers'

'The location is a bit out of the way and it could be cleaner, but for the price I am not going to complain. There is an electric kettle and a microwave available in the breakfast room.'

'Beautifully maintained property and an excellent breakfast.'
