« Pub with rooms,with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water.
Evening staff were warm and welcoming, great evening meal. Breakfast was slightly less relaxed as the waitress was slightly overwhelmed having 4 guests.
An extension lead for the kettle in the bedroom would be useful. Also lots of cooking smells in the room and corridors due to the kitchen door being open all the time. »

« Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested.
We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot.
Plenty of parking.
Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay.
That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal. »

« Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast.
The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...
