'Beautiful little apartment, walking to shops and easy parking'

'This property looks NOTHING like those very nice photos they show. It’s unkempt and actually dirty inside. The clerk was working behind bulletproof glass. The parking lot has numerous people hanging around. There are signs warning of human trafficking as you go in and also in the dingy lobby. The clerk actually told me that I didn’t have to stay there if I didn’t want to, because the ‘vibe’ of the place had changed since it changed ownership. 'When we arrived at the property, there were people hanging out in front of the main entrance, smoking cigarettes, smoking, marijuana, leaving cigarette butts all over the ground. The checkout representative at the window was as helpful as she could be. We arrived at 6 PM on Friday. We were late for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding that we had been in town for so we dropped our stuff in rushed. 'Conveniently located and clean with an easy parking lot. The place was fine, but a pretty big disparity between the listing, professional feeling web interface, huge deposit and real life. Ultimately, it was ‘fine’ - comfortable and served the purpose for our trip. The coffee bar (Keurig with plenty of pods) and coffee pot was nice to have, but there was ONE coffee mug, two disposable cups, and one travel mug that seems to have been left behind. 'Visiting West Point for ring weekend. Location was great and the reason we chose the place. Property itself could really use some TLC, but it met our needs. Communication with the owner was good and gaining access to the property was straightforward. Would consider staying here again just based on the close proximity to West Point.'
