'The best Vrbo we ever stayed in. It had everything a person could need. The bedding, and towels were on very plush. Definitely high end. Will be back and friends and family. Love it!'

'Beautiful retreat in the forest. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed was very nice and the wood stove was an extra added bonus for morning yoga! There’s a front and back porch and birdsong all day long. Terry was available on the property but gave us privacy. Do yourself a favor and grab a burger at the Jane’s Ranch Grill (it’s the same family’s business). GOAT burgers!!!'

'The cabin has view of the lake through trees from the porch and and dining area window. I loved the sound of lapping water on the shore and heard geese. The cabin had what we needed, and I did not mind washing dishes by hand. The decor was cozy and quaint befitting a cabin. My husband did not like the uneven floor but I was not bothered. The bed was very comfortable, very hot water from tap, and nice aray of cooking utensils. One does need to walk down stone and dirt steps to reach wooden steps...

'This place was a great home base for activities in Pagosa, Durango, and the surrounding areas. The only missing amenity would have been a hot tub, this could really put this place over the top. As others mentioned, noise from floors above is loud, but that is part of staying in a log cabin. We got used to it by the second night and the fandeliers in the rooms help with the noise and comfort.'

'Very comfortable and relaxing. Near lakes and rivers for fishing. We liked sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds.'

'Our group of eight (4 adults and 4 teens) and two dogs stayed at the house in January. It was a very comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen and a great location. It was an easy drive into town and a reasonable drive up to Wolf Creek. There are beautiful views and lots of comfortable places to hang out and play board games. I would definitely come back!!'

'I booked this trip to literally get away for a little while. This location, and time of year, is perfect for that. Tourist season around that area has pretty much shut down by this time of year, so i was one of the only people in the collection of cabins directly around. So other than a vehicle from time to time, the only noise was the lake and the wind in the trees. The cabin itself was perfect too. A cozy little two bed, with a nice fireplace, and half wrap around deck, which was perfect for...

'Beautiful home located on the San Juan River. Hot tube was perfect - allowing for relaxing times enjoying the sound of the river and stars galore. Pet friendly too.'

'Bed in main bedroom was comfortable to my wife and I. We normally sleep on a Tempurpedic medium firm bed. Cabin was at the end of the lane past several other homes and had a large nice deck that overlooked the Florida river. Only negative was a broken sliding screen on the sliding door leading to the main deck. Otherwise, the cabin was clean, well kept and quietly secluded. Parking was a little tight but no problem.'

'We visited week after Labor Day and felt like we had the whole neighborhood and lake to ourselves. Quiet. Beautiful night skies. Hiked to beginning of wilderness area...stunning views. The services of cafe and store were excellent. Heads up, drive down to cabin is steep. Recommend SUV and AWD. We would stay again.'

The bedrooms and bathrooms were exceptional. When it snowed, they had a person clear the driveway and rear deck for us. Management team was very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this house for a great vacation.'
