'Our accomadations - La Rana - was so very clean and relaxing. Every thing we needed was provided in our villa- comfortable bed with clean sheets, a kitchen with all cooking utinsels provided, a stove and refrigerator, and a lovely large bathroom with fresh clean towels. We were surrounded by a tropical paradise and early every morning we would make our coffee and from our porch we would watch the jungle come alive. We saw numerous humming birds whizzing by and heard monkeys and toucans in...

'I am afraid to leave a review about this wonderful place because I’m hoping it stays a secret. Not very many properties in this area that has beach access and view. David and his staff are amazing. Great welcome and attention as we checked in and throughout our stay. It is very obvious there is a lot of pride in this property, as the grounds in common use areas are so well kept. This place is great because you can customize your visit: If you are traveling as a pair, you can rent a room only,...

'Overall this property is exceptional and better than photos or past reviews could express. Our family of four arrived after dark on Jan. 1 for five nights. We were met by David who had provided excellent directions and had communicated all of the details in advance. We woke up to amazing views of the ocean and all sorts of animal noises in the jungle right beside our villa. We enjoyed many hours on our front porch looking out over the ocean. This is a truly wonderful place. Our week was full of...

'This villa was perfect for our family of 6. The location is stunning with an impressive view of the ocean. The path down to the beach was steep in places, but the beach was unbelievable! Beautiful sand and lots of space. The kids loved swimming there. The villa is decorated beautifully and fairly well equipped. What utensils/pans we didn't have, we were able to get at the shared outdoor kitchen. The communication with the owner was excellent and the staff handled any issues that arose promptly....

Bahia Selvatica Lodge

10/10 Voortreffelijk

"Geweldig kamers, prima zwembad."

Canavida Villas & Resort

8/10 Goed

"It seemed a very nice villa on top of the hills with a view. We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. Positives: - The view is very nice - the grounds are greener than on the pics - the house is quite large and rooms have good bathrooms, but villa 8 second bedroom is separate, weird! - the furnishing is nice wood, well styled - aircons work Not so goods: - long dirt gravel road 6km, also a positive, as we had a 4x4, so be sure to have a high clearance or 4x4. - no washing machine available - tiles throughout seem nice but when wet are extremely slippery! They put some strips down outside, but you must wear footwear…! - kitchen is good size, but not well equipped, so basically not really for cooking majorly, thus missing utensils or cheap versions. - dining chairs are too low - place smelled like dog first few days, floor needs better cleaning! Good coms/fixes: - shower at first didn’t work properly, but they came fast and fixed. Generally we enjoyed the place only to an extent, that it was nice architecture with a view a lot of animals around, quite private, large dining deck and cool at night, but the location is high in hills and therefore much cooler, wetter and in clouds, so hardly touched the pool and when wanting outdoors we went to the valley for sunshine. We stayed a week. Enjoy"
