' I booked 3 lodges for family and friends for my daughter’s 40th birthday. We all loved our stay, despite the weather. The lodges were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Grandchildren had a brilliant time with the outdoor space, swimming & dry sledging. Would have loved more time but we will certainly be back as there is so much we haven’t done. Local people & shop staff were very helpful and friendly.'

'Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.'

'Great spot, just a few minutes down the a9 from Pitlochry. Tranquil. Plenty of ducks wandering around. Lodge was equipped with most stuff you'd want. We stayed in the smaller joined lodges, and we were surprised how good the sound proofing was. Useful to have a washing machine available. '

'Our stay at Bracken house was amazing it was bright clean and really comfortable and our grandson loved the hot tub the place was fully equipped and we needed for nothing. Truly worth the visit'

'Nothing but positive things to say about Sweet Donside Cabins. Cabins and facilities were spotlessly clean, TV beds very spacious and comfortable, with the attention to detail excellent. Hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Lots of extra touches including a welcome basket.'

'We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. We were a large group of 12 and the house was perfect for accommodating everyone comfortably. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with plenty of communal areas for us to spend time together. 'Mooi, groot huis. Keuken en badkamers ( wc’ s spoelen echter slecht door. ) goed uitgerust. We hebben prettig verblijf gehad en veel buiten kunnen zitten. Dan valt op dat er buiten rondom veel achterstallig onderhoud is. Desondanks hebben wij er een heel prettig weekend gehad.'

'Lovely big house off set from the other houses and surrounded with forest so all balconies were private. Great kitchen with everything you need. Complimentary washing, cleaning items to save having to pack these. We had a lovely stay. Would definitely book again if the double beds could be made into singles as another friend will be with us and need twin rooms. '

'Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead....

'We had a great time at Boat of Garten. It's a good base for hiking. However, the photos of the cottage are somewhat misleading. The chalet is located in a holiday park, albeit on the edge (fortunately!). The room with the double bed has ample space, but the other room is very small, and the beds are narrower than usual. It was simply too small for my two teenagers. Otherwise, the cottage is neat and clean. I did miss proper pots and pans, though. The ones I did have were either too small or...

'Everything was excellent.The outstanding property and all its facilities. Wonderful location, overlook magnificent scenery. We loved all the bird life and spent many hours watching the activity on the bird feeders, including very greedy and bossy woodpeckers and visits from red squirrels. We also spotted a deer in the fields below us. We have recommended the treehouse to many of our friends and hope we can come again too.'

'Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Beams were a little low near the bed so remember to duck! Plenty on offer for continental breakfast including homemade bread. Due to covid we struggled finding places to eat however we were able to use the oven in the kitchen to heat up some food we bought from the nearby co-op. We visited the reindeer centre and it was amazing I thoroughly recommend this trip!'
