'Sequoia resort has spacious houses in a beautiful surrounding.'

'Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

'We really enjoyed the property and closeness to the entrance of the park. Communication with the owners was always great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which we appreciated a lot! 'Important disclaimer; unless you have AT&T cell coverage, there is really no good Internet/phone coverage in this area at all. So when you find out the address and the mechanism how to get into whatever cabin shoes, make sure you write it down. By the time we got to this cabin, there was no Internet service, and it was a wild goose chase finding a business on the main road who would share their Wi-Fi information so I could find out how to get into this cabin. 'Leuk hutje midden in de bossen en vlakbij een klein riviertje. Leuke buitenplaats met vuurplek en zitje. Helaas zat een een kuil in een van de bedden en waren de matrassen te zacht voor mijn rug, dus hebben mijn vrouw en ik geen oog dicht gedaan en zijn in plaats van twee nachten maar een nacht verbleven en dat was erg zonde van het geld. Volgens eigenaar zijn wij de eerste die hierover hebben geklaagd, dus het zal wel aan ons liggen.'

'John's Place couldn't have been better for our last-minute trip to Sequoia Nat'l Park. We stayed two nights. Robin was a great host. We enjoyed the privacy and serene neighborhood --- which is located very close to the park entrance. We came here with our two teenagers and our experience was outstanding. We had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the AC after long hot hikes. We hope we can return to see the Sequoias and stay here again. '

"Lodge midden in de natuur, authentieke plek. Vriendelijke mensen, wat gedateerde kamer. Bedden niet echt goed maar de plek maakt het goed. Algemene ruimte aanwezig om te zitten met magnetron, koffie en thee."

"Unfortunately, the pool area was very disappointing. More than half of the sun loungers were completely broken: either the seat or the backrest was damaged and unusable. The covers of the parasols were scattered around the pool area and simply thrown onto the broken loungers, which made the space look very neglected. Only one lounger had a cushion available, which is far from sufficient for guests who want to relax by the pool. I strongly recommend that the hotel invest in new, sturdy sun loungers and remove all the broken ones, it’s really not a pleasant sight. It would also be great if guests could receive a proper-sized pool towel instead of the very small towels currently provided, which are far too small to lie on comfortably. This would really improve the pool experience for future guests."
