'Good location and good area'

'It was awful. Two hrs before I was supposed to check in, the host literally cancelled my stay because she said the price I paid was wrong. One of the worst experiences of my life. It was so stressful.'

'When we arrived, the apartment had not been cleaned since the previous person's stay. There were used towels and toiletries in the bathroom, food and rubbish still on the bench and coffee table, and bedsheets had not been changed. We were unable to contact host quickly, and so booked a separate hotel. Host has since apologised, but when I contacted them for a refund, has not responded.'

'I used this accommodation as a private rental (minpaku), but there were multiple problems with both the cleanliness and the host's management. The cleaning was inadequate; there was a lot of dust on the floor and the air conditioning unit. The water areas were dirty, and the previous guest's garbage was left in the trash can under the sink.
