'Beautiful guest house just a couple of minutes from the long sandy beach in Ayr. Fantastic location for walking and just a few minutes to the town center. Our room was pristine, it even had its own small fridge, with a bottle of chilled water and fresh milk. The room also has a microwave. There's a choice of cooked breakfast, which was just perfect. '

'We had a nice stay. It’s about 2 blocks to the beach. There is no lift and it’s 3 stories high! Rooms aren’t too big. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great!! Paul is a great cook! We did have a problem locating the place. We also got there late and Paul wasn’t too happy, but the next morning he was ok. Pictures on the web are accurate. Great place for young and young at heart couples to stay '

The only thing we were woken up early with a lot of noise of other rooms being cleaned and after being at a family wedding the night before we were hoping for a little more rest the following morning. But apart from that it was a good stay.'

'Fab well appointed little Gem is what the Burlington Guest House is. The location is brilliant and the bus stops 1 minute from the guest house. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well maintained and a great size and the sea view was fab. 'On arrival we were shown to our room and discovered there was no power, so we informed the owner and within minutes he arrived and we tried to solve the problem. Turns out the fridge in our room was faulty and kept tripping the electricity. We were then moved out of the room and upgraded to a larger room.
