Great home away from home

The home was clean, kitchen was fully equipped with all necessities for cooking and dining, fresh linens were provided, the pool and hot tub were clean and beautiful. The common area is large and spacious. Front porch was great for dining and playing games. It was a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. A beautiful location. My family and I really enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Excellent Choice

Great spot in Avon. Beach is a short walk and the pool and hot tub offer you to take a sand free moment. Would recommend and would certainly stay again if the southern beaches are what you're looking for.

Everything was exactly as expected if not better! That kids room is a real bonus with the trundle bed. You can easily sleep 4 kids or if they are small like ours it probably would have fit 10!

Great family getaway

This property is a perfect family retreat. There were 4 of us and the dog and had room to spare. We loved the central dining table for meals and playing games. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking with lots of counter space. We all enjoyed the pool and appreciated the plethora of chairs and lounges around the pool. The beach entrance is very close but has many stairs to get up and over the dune so may be tough for visitors with less mobility. View from the top of the dune of the beach and Avon fishing pier is beautiful! Our only complaint was the presence of small, mostly invisible cactus on and around the property. It was difficult for the dog and bare feet/sandals anywhere but on the driveway. We enjoyed the Avon area - several good places to eat, a close grocery store but in a small, friendly community. Hatteras lighthouse national park is not far and has great ranger programs (check their scheduled events - shore fishing, kayaks, dark skies star viewing on the beach, etc!). Lots of charter fishing opportunities not too far either.

We had a wonderful stay at Krazy 4 Shore. The house was fantastic and had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi password and the property management team fixed the issue within minutes.

Peaceful retreat

This was a great rental for a peaceful getaway with my husband and our dog . We had quests for a couple days as well . Nice home . Perfect location . Delicious food in the area and the pool was key to full enjoyment. Everything was great One suggestion would have been a guest info book to inform renters of areas attractions and a place to write a message . We loved the assortment of games and the kitchen is very well set up and filled with supplies . I would rent again

Wonderfully Relaxing Stay

My husband and I spent two weeks here in the off season and had an amazing time ! It’s so close to the beach and necessities (restaurants, groceries). The place itself was super clean and well maintained! It’s also so well stocked for cooking and nights in. You won’t regret staying here !

Family vacation

The house is very comfortable & well furnished, the shower/tub needed scrubbing & was dirty but everything else was as described. The biggest issue I had was that check out is 10 am , and the owner started texting the day before check out wanting an exact time we would be gone & those texts continued first thing the next morning, if it is expected that a family checks out earlier then listed time for the maid services to come clean, it should be in the listing . We felt rushed and it ruined the last day.

Wonderful Cottage!

Crazy 4 Shore was a super-cute cottage that was close to a beach access, in addition to, shops in the area. We enjoyed having a pool and hot tub to use when we didn't want to be on the beach. And, we loved the screen porch! It was great, too, that we could bring our pet. The owner was great with her communications.

Great week in OBX

We had a great time at Tamara’s place. My wife and I stayed with our two kids, as well as my parents, brother, sister and brother-in-law. The pool was a big hit, it’s a perfect size for little kids as well as adults looking for a soak. The house was also very close to the beach, and we were lucky to have good weather all week, in between hurricanes! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable beach vacation in OBX.

2 Weeks on Hatteras

Great Location steps from the beach. Pool was great especially important on red flag days. Hot tub was amazing especially early in the morning when the kids were still asleep. Only 1 mile from a very well stocked grocery. Plenty of good places to eat in the area. Really appreciate how much more quiet the area is than up north which is exactly what we wanted. Kids loved riding boogy boards in the surf and chasing crabs at night. Favorite place to eat was Diamond Shoals. Went for a day of fishing in the Atlantic. Also took the ferry over over to Ocracoke and rented a golf cart for the day. Kids got me an Ugly mug from the coffee shop across the Street for fathers day. Overall a a great vacation.

Laid Back Quiet Beach House

We had a great time at Krazy4Shore. Tammy, the owner is detailed oriented and this is reflected in her great communication, organization, and design of this cozy beach house. Aside from the beach house being well designed and decorated- there were also labels and notes around the house that made it really easy to get familiar with. There is a binder full of info about the house, contact numbers, as well as info on restaurants and things to do. Very helpful! We also loved the outdoor shower, pool and of course, the hot tub:) The screened porch was wonderful too. The beach had some great waves! We had so much fun playing in the waves, trying to surf, and hunt for shells. We rented boards and chairs for the week from Ocean Atlantic Rentals- right behind the house! How convenient! We took a drive one day up north to Kitty Hawk and the Wright Bros Memorial- It was worth going to see, but made me appreciate even more the calm of Avon! Very wide 4-5 lane highway up that end of OBX, lots of tourist stuff and chain places, cars and traffic- completely opposite of Avon! Avon is a little gem! Krazy4Shore is a little slice of paradise!

Fabulous!!

What a fabulous vacation. The house was beautiful and clean. We didn't want for anything but more time. The pool and hot tub were a great addition and the beach only a minute walk. And dog friendly to boot! Our puppers had a great time, too. We wouldn't hesitate renting again! Tamara, our host, was wondetful. Great location, awesome vacation!!

Wonderful location, quick and easy access to breach

Loved our stay in Avon. While it seems to be a remote location many amenities and restaurants close by. So close to beach but also large lot to provide privacy. Hope to return in the future. Property owner so pleasant and prompt in all inquiries
