'The property was impeccable. Tod (owner) is a very knowledgeable host. He takes great pride in his carefully restored 140+home. Every attention to detail was shown. Modern conveniences have been installed in the home. In doing so every effort has been made to retain the vintage era of the property.'

'Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).'

'This is a well kept property with nice sized rooms, and an excellent restaurant and bar with awesome staff. Only negative is that, with the pool and slides etc. the locals come and hold birthday parties for their kids, who run wild up and won the halls. A quick word to the front desk and it went quiet! I think it is a great amenity for the locals folks as long as they keep their children in line. All in all though, excellent property.'

'Spacious room and very comfortable. While outdated, it was also somewhat rustic and quaint in its own way. The rates were excellent for this time of year. Everything was safe and secure for parking, but we did not eat there. It was an hour's drive back to St. John's for a medical appointment, so a little further than we had hoped for. Still, we found it relaxing and quiet in a beautiful and peaceful setting. '

'Cozy is the right word to describe the property- we enjoyed the stay. We did find the beds to be uncomfortable but that could be due to our size. It was easy access to all that we were there to enjoy.'
