Three bedroom home on the hill with Hot Tub, Fire Table, BBQ and Golf Cart

Catalina three bedroom plus small bonus room, two bath relaxation home with a 2022 EzGo Freedom Elite Lithium four person Electric Golf Cart, Hot Tub, BBQ and Fire Table. One of the few homes in Avalon with central AC and heat. Home is located in the hill section of Avalon. This home has ramps for easy access with no stairs if desired.



This home comfortably sleeps a max of six guests and is in a quiet residential area. No parties or events are allowed at this home. This home is perfect for families and guests wanting a quiet relaxing getaway. Each bedroom has a queen bed plus a small bonus room with a twin bed.

The large backyard has a 115 Jet Hot Tub that is amazing for relaxing after a long day walking around the city. Hot tub has as easily lift for cover open/close. Please note hot tub hours are 9 AM to 9 PM out of respect for our neighbors. Situated above the hot tub is a six person fire dining table and Webber Genesis BBQ. Both are hard lined to natural gas; no need to worry about propane refills. There are casual seating areas in the backyard and on front patio. There is a Pergola over the dining table that can be open or closed for shade or to let the sky through. It also can provide some protection during rain.

This is a SCUBA diver friendly home with areas to wash and store dive gear. We are divers ourselves as well. With the golf cart it is easy to take two divers / gear to casino point at a time. Multiple trips will be needed for additional divers.

The living room has a 65” TV with popular streaming apps and surround sound, electric reclining couch, chaise couch, wine bar, and two work/eating Counters. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and has a coffee maker with option for K-Cups or Drip Coffee.

The master bedroom has a walk-in large shower, TV with popular streaming apps, Queen Bed with Drawers and two closets. There is a pack-in-play in the closet.

The second Jack/Jill style bathroom has a Jetted Tub, and gorgeous tile surround. There is a washer/dryer located next to the bathroom

The middle bedroom has a large chest of drawers, TV, and a Queen Bed. This bedroom has quick access to the second bathroom.

The front bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and attached access to shared bathroom.

There is a very small room off the living room that we have provided a Twin XL bed for flexible sleeping arrangements.

There are multiple USB Power plugs throughout the house. Wi-Fi is also available in all areas of the home. There are two cameras located at front Entry and Front of House. Home uses Noiseaware decibel metering technology to alert of loud parties. We appreciate you helping us to be a good neighbor for the year round residents of Avalon. This is not a home for loud drinking parties. We do need to strictly enforce this and the maximum of six guests to stay in accordance with our rental license.

Rental agreement for use of hot tub and golf cart needs to be signed after booking.

They Rental was everything that we expected for a couple of senior ladies who love Jazz festivals. close to everything. The golf cart was everything made the rental and visit that much more accommodating. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Plenty of space. check-in and checkout process was very easy. Steven the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.Would definitely book again.

Host was very responsive and accommodating. The house was up a hill a bit, so it was very convenient to have the golf cart! The place was very clean and made for the perfect stay. It says 3 bedroom but there’s actually a tiny 4th bedroom with a twin bed as well! I thought initially the 3rd bedroom had a twin so was nice to find an additional queen.

This stay was everything we could have hoped for. Every possible amenity, including the golf cart which made transportation on rhe island a pleasure. Plenty of indoor space with three outdoor patios! Communication was rapid and Stephen was incredibly hospitable. Plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. Beds were very comfortable. The back yard was a lovely place to escape the crowds. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was explained very well in the property description, so no surprises upon arrival. We have stayed in Avalon several times over the years, but this was the first time we rented a place that had a golf cart, and it was a game changer! The jacuzzi was an added bonus as well. A good way to wrap up a day and relax. The property is very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend to friends and family that are planning a trip to Catalina.

Peaceful Getaway

Wonderful property! Owner was communicative and accommodating. Our boat came in early and he allowed us to take the golf cart out and drop our luggage off, while it was getting cleaned for our arrival. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was very close to the center of town. The covered deck was a peaceful place to have our coffee in the morning and dinners at night. We would love to stay there again!

Great stay. We cook so there were some useful things not present: Stirring spatulas, cheese grater. Not a big deal. We took out own knives. Loved the outdoor lights and the beautiful hot tub. so nice to have seating around the hot tub as well for those not wanting to go in. Our friends stayed at the Metropole and we hosted dinner for them the last night, Stove is terrific, Beds are comfortable and was so nice to have nice appliances, including the washer and dryer, The hosts repond immediately and are also available by phone. Everything was as advertised, except the twin bed is not in the living room, it has its own little room with a door! Unexpected surprise. So, it is 3 bedrooms plus tbat extra twin bed room; I'd say 4 bedrooms.Owner was very pleasant to communicate with; responded fast to questions. It is about a 20 minute walk from docks, which is what the listing says. It is up hill a good portion of the walk. If you have mobility constraints, I'd get a ride from the dock. We had a verst relaxing time!

Annual Family Vacation

I arrived with my Aunt (70) and my 93 year old Second Cousin. We took a taxi to the property and entered the gate and up a ramp to the back patio and entrance. The golf cart was invaluable for us and really helped to allow my aunt and cousin experience more of the island. The primary room with bathroom had a zero entry shower which was perfect for my Aunt and Cousin. The house was a great landing spot in-between adventures on the island. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio for the early morning sun and bird watching and the back patio throughout the day and evening. It was really comfortable and charming with the outdoor lights. Another comfort was the air conditioning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, quiet bungalow that is close city center

This beautiful, one story home has three bedrooms with full and/or queen size beds bonus room with twin bed, and two full baths. Off the beaten path yet not too far to walk to center of city and Catalina Flyer/Express docks. My husband and his friend took advantage of diving near the Casino while the rest of us buzzed around the island on the well maintained, well kept 4-seater golf cart sightseeing. Host Steven was a pleasure to work with and was extremely quick answering all of our messages through the app. The home was thoughtfully and thoroughly clean upon arrival as was the back deck area and jacuzzi. Would definitely consider staying in same home again should we visit Catalina in the future and will definitely recommend the home to friends and others. The Perfect Avalon House

2nd time staying at this house and it truly is the perfect house in Avalon. Everything you would need - 3.5 BRs, 2 full bathrooms, great kitchen, outdoor grill and fire table, private hot tub (a rarity in Avalon) and an electric golf cart to get around. So much better than staying in a room in a hotel, for us. It's up the hill a bit so not right on the waterfront in Avalon, but a quick trip down the hill with a golf cart, or over to Descanso Beach or the golf course if you like. If you're looking for a private, relaxing getaway in Avalon, this is your place. Book it while it's available.

A gem in Catalina!

We had an amazing time at this lovely property. It’s situated just outside of the downtown area and is very peaceful. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and the furniture was comfy. The hot tub was amazing and we loved spending time on the lower deck. Having a golf cart included was the best part since the home is on a hill and it made going in and out of town a breeze. We can’t wait to stay here again - highly highly recommend!!

Just right, in so many ways!

Just far enough from town to not be noisy, but close enough to walk. The deluxe golf cart was a help for those who didn't want to climb the hill, and we were also able to explore much more in it. The hot tub had so many jets and good privacy. We appreciated the ramp to enter and the carefully laid out floorpan that accommodated our group of 6 adults. Every chair and bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook most of our meals. We hope to return someday!

Accurate and "On the Mark"

Five stars all the way. The hot tub was awesome as were the outdoor features. The beds were comfy and wonderful as was the unit which was very well appointed. TVs were awesome!! Thanksgiving 2024

After watching My Octopus Teacher on Netflix, my young sons were determined to experience kelp and snorkeling like in the movie. Catalina was that dream come true. We were freezing after each swim in the ocean, but this amazing house had a hot tub where we would warm up within minutes. Grandma & Grandpa used the golf cart to explore around town, and would come back to house for relaxing naps and meals. The TV is incredible! Every channel and option known to man -- we watched episodes of favorite shows from the 80s and enjoyed a movie together each night! This house provided for the best vacation I have had in years; we are grateful to the owners. It is the perfect house for families. My only suggestion would be to add a few beach towels maybe! Thank you!
