Blokhutten in Austin Creek State Recreation Area

'The Tipsy Turtle was everything we were looking for during our vacation. We loved that it was within walking distance of downtown, including restaurants, shops, and galleries. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is just down the road and is absolutely awe-inspiring.The property itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area while also providing a relaxing place to unwind at the end of each...

'Very unique and charming property. Definitely felt like being in a tree house in the redwoods. We spent most of our time when there sitting on the deck. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do - drive to the coast, hike at the state park, and visit nearby restaurants and wineries.'

'If you are looking for a peaceful treehouse escape this is your home! Walking distance to the Stumptown brewery and the river, gorgeous views from the deck, privacy, and thoughtful touches throughout the clean home, this vacation spot does not disappoint. Host is super responsive. We already can’t wait to come back!'

'Loved our stay. Well stocked kitchen and close to some great little wineries.'

'The house was so quiet and so peaceful I really enjoyed.'

'We had a lovely time. The cabin was cozy and clean, and the hot tub was great. There were so many amenities included, they really thought of everything. Highly recommend staying here.'

'We loved the property. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get to the property and do not put address in Google Maps it will take you to the wrong place (s). It is actually before /behind the blue sign. Beyond that it was perfect the private beach was awesome and the team had fun in the kayaks. Perfect setting, great host, and would come back in my suv not van. lol'

'An absolutely unforgettable stay! From start to finish, everything was seamless, beautiful, and thoughtfully curated. The property itself is stunning—every detail feels top-tier and intentional. You can tell a lot of care goes into creating such an elevated experience. Truly one of those places that exceeds expectations in every way. Easily a 100/10—can’t wait to come back!'
